MLUA Umpire Game Fees

College Umpire Fees for 2015 (all amounts are per umpire, per game)

  • NCAA College Play

    • Regular Game, 3-Person Officiating:
      • District Official -- $163.00

      • National Official -- $187.00

  • NCWLL College Club Play

    • Regular Game, 2-Person Officiating:
      • National Official -- $130.00

      • District Official -- $120.00

      • Local Official -- $110.00

    • Regular Game, 3-Person Officiating:
      • District Official -- $90.00

    • Play Day Game, 3-Person Officiating:
      • District Official -- $90.00

  • Ground/Travel College Fees for all College Play

    • Ground Travel:  Mileage is 55 cents/mile for any round trip mileage exceeding 50 miles.

    • Per Diem:  $40 per day of travel when the round trip ground mileage is 300 miles or more, when the game time/travel necessitates that the umpire stay overnight, or when umpires are on extended road trips due to multiple assignments.

    • Accommodations:  Lodging and hotel parking fees provided when game time/travel necessitates that the umpire stay overnight.

    • Air Travel

      • When approved, the host institution shall arrange air travel directly with the umpire(s) involved.

      • The host school shall provide ground transportation to and from the airport via school personnel or provide the umpire(s) with a rental car.

      • Schools are expected to reimburse the umpire for airport parking fees when applicable.

  • Off-Season College Fees

    • Off-Season Fees -- $65.00

2018 MSHSL High School Girls Lacrosse Fees

  • REGULAR SEASON:
    • Varsity Game
      • 3 Officials -- $78.00

      • 2 Officials -- $78.00

    • JV/B/9 Game (2X20 min. Running Time, stop time in last 2 minutes of each half unless there's a 10-goal lead)
      • 2 Officials -- $53.00

      • 1 Official -- $58.00

For JV/varsity game set with 2 umpires, each umpire should be paid $131.00/umpire.

For umpires who work a B or JV game by him- or herself, the fee is $58 per the stated fee schedule above.

If there is a rain cancellation, a.k.a., a suspended game, 2/3 fee should be submitted to each umpire.  If the cancelled game is played on another day, this is considered a new game with new game fee

  • POST-SEASON:

    • Varsity
      • 3 Officials -- $83.00

2018 NSLA (Club) High School Girls Lacrosse Fees

  • REGULAR SEASON:

    • Varsity
      • 3 Officials -- $78.00

      • 2 Officials -- $78.00

    • JV/B/9 Game (2X20 min. Running Time, stop time in last 2 minutes of each half unless there's a 10-goal lead)  
      • 2 Officials -- $53.00

      • 1 Official -- $58.00

2018 Youth Umpire Fees (all amounts are per umpire, per game, no travel fee)

  • Non-Playday / Tournament Rates (1 or 2 games played in a day at a location):
    • Certified Adult Umpire (US Lacrosse certified) - $50 (2 umpires/game)

    • Certified Adult Umpire (US Lacrosse certified) - $65 (1 umpire/game)

    • Apprentice (1st Year) Youth Umpire (non-certified) - $25 (2 umpires/game)

    • Local (2nd Year &/or based on rated field experience) Youth Umpire (certified) - $35 (2 umpires/game)

    • Apprentice umpire is an individual officiating in his/her first year.

    • Local umpire is an individual officiating in his/her second or third/fourth years.

    • A single youth official is acceptable ONLY in emergency situations. The assigner will do his/her best to schedule an experienced official and a youth umpire for each match unless otherwise instructed by hosting school.
